Artificial Not So Intelligence
AI isn't real intelligence. It's the culmination of human intelligence — everything people have written, built and figured out — and an imitation of it. A very good imitation, but not the real thing. That's why I keep a human in the loop: AI-created. Human-approved.

I’m Jeff, a principal architect in the data center division of a global automotive manufacturer. I work primarily with data center technology but only have indirect exposure to AI. The views and opinions I express are mine and only mine, and do not represent my company or colleagues. But that's not what this site is about.
ANotSoI LLC is a Michigan company named for the thesis that AI is simulated intelligence — a mathematical compression of human writing, operating by probabilistic token prediction. I treat models as tools and put them on deterministic rails: scripts own state, routing and validation; models handle unstructured text. The blog is my notebook: the thesis, the rails, and what I learn running them.
