Third 2.8L Duramax Used Oil Analysis

My third used oil analysis from the 2.8L Duramax in my 2018 Colorado came back with exactly the kind of numbers I wanted to see.

The comments from BlackStone say it all - break-in metals are down, iron is tracking with mileage and even below unit averages and there’s enough life left in the oil to go a couple thousand more miles.

Part of the credit should be given to the AC Delco oil filter, but I suspect the superior Amsoil European Car Formula has something to do with it.
